Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Choose placement location.

  1. Position soundbar: Place below TV or mount on wall using included hardware.
  2. Place wireless subwoofer: Position within 10 meters of soundbar, away from walls.
  3. Connect power: Plug both soundbar and subwoofer into AC outlets.
  4. Connect to TV: Use HDMI eARC port or optical cable for best audio quality.
  5. Power on: Soundbar and subwoofer will automatically pair (LED indicator solid).

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation; do not block soundbar vents. Keep away from heat sources.

First-Time Configuration

Power on system; follow initial setup prompts.

  1. Input selection: Press INPUT button to select HDMI, Optical, or Bluetooth.
  2. Sound mode selection: Use SOUND MODE button to choose preferred audio profile.
  3. Volume calibration: Adjust subwoofer level using remote control for balanced sound.

Connecting Devices

HDMI eARC: Connect to TV's HDMI ARC/eARC port for best audio synchronization. Optical: Use included optical cable for digital audio. Bluetooth: Wireless streaming from compatible devices.

  1. Turn off all devices before making connections.
  2. Use high-speed HDMI cable for eARC connection (not included).
  3. Select corresponding input on soundbar (HDMI, OPT, BT).
  4. Enable HDMI-CEC on TV for single remote control.

Tip: For Dolby Atmos content, HDMI eARC connection is required.

Audio Modes & Settings

Optimize audio for different content types.

  1. Press SOUND MODE button to cycle through available modes.
  2. Cinema Mode: Enhances surround effects for movies.
  3. Music Mode: Balanced frequency response for music playback.
  4. Game Mode: Reduces audio latency for gaming.
  5. Night Mode: Compresses dynamic range for late-night viewing.

  7. Adjust subwoofer level: Use SUBWOOFER +/- buttons on remote.

WARNING! Avoid extreme volume levels to prevent hearing damage and speaker damage.

Bluetooth Pairing

Stream audio from smartphones, tablets, or computers.

  1. Press BLUETOOTH button on remote or soundbar to enter pairing mode.
  2. On mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for "LG XBS63V".
  3. Select "LG XBS63V" from available devices list.
  4. Connection confirmed when LED shows solid blue and audio plays.
  5. For subsequent connections, soundbar will automatically reconnect to last paired device.

Note: Bluetooth range is approximately 10 meters without obstacles.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug from power before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for exterior surfaces.

CAUTION! Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols. Avoid moisture contact with ports and vents.
