Installation

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place the player on a stable, flat surface.

  1. Connect to TV: Use HDMI, Component, or Composite video cables as preferred.
  2. Connect audio: Use HDMI, digital coaxial, or analog audio cables to your TV or audio system.
  3. Connect power: Plug the power cord into the player and then into a wall outlet.
  4. Insert batteries into the remote control.

WARNING! Ensure the player is placed in a well-ventilated area. Do not block ventilation openings.

First-Time Setup

Power on the player and your TV; select the correct input source on your TV.

  1. Set language: Use the SETUP menu to select your preferred OSD language.
  2. Configure video output: In SETUP, choose the appropriate video resolution (e.g., 480p, 720p, 1080i) for your TV.
  3. Configure audio output: Select the audio format (e.g., PCM, Bitstream) compatible with your audio system.
  4. Set parental lock: If desired, set a password in the SETUP menu to restrict playback of certain discs.

CAUTION! Do not move the player while a disc is inside. Handle discs by the edges.

Access the On-Screen Display (OSD) via the SETUP button on the remote. Front Panel: POWER, OPEN/CLOSE, PLAY/PAUSE, STOP.

Setup Menu: Language, TV Aspect (4:3, 16:9), Video Output Resolution, Audio Output, Parental Lock (default password may be 0000), DivX® VOD registration. Playback Settings: Repeat, Zoom, Angle (if available), Audio/Subtitle selection.

Connecting Devices

TV: Use HDMI for best quality, or Component/Composite video. Audio System: Use digital coaxial or HDMI for surround sound. USB: Connect flash drive to front port for media playback.

  1. Turn off all devices before making connections.
  2. Use high-quality cables for optimal performance.
  3. Select the corresponding input source on your TV (e.g., HDMI 1).

Tip: For HDMI connection, ensure your TV supports the selected resolution (e.g., 1080i).

Playing Media

Supports DVDs, Video CDs, Audio CDs, and files from USB.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up, close tray.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; use SKIP or numeric buttons to navigate titles/chapters/tracks.
  3. Stop: Press STOP; eject with OPEN/CLOSE.
  4. Pause/Still: Press PAUSE during playback; press again to resume.
  5. Slow Motion: Press PAUSE twice, then use SKIP buttons.
  6. Repeat: Press REPEAT to repeat a chapter, track, title, or all.
  7. Zoom: Press ZOOM during playback to magnify the picture.
  8. USB Playback: Insert USB device, use MENU to browse and select files.

WARNING! Do not use damaged or irregularly shaped discs. Do not touch the laser lens.

Accessibility Features

Subtitle: Select subtitle language via SUBTITLE button during DVD playback. Audio Track: Select audio language via AUDIO button. Parental Lock: Restrict playback of discs based on ratings in the SETUP menu.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug the player from the power outlet before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. For stubborn stains, lightly dampen the cloth with water.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or spray cleaners directly on the unit. Avoid getting moisture into any openings.
