Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface near your TV and audio system.

  1. Connect to TV: Use Component Video cables (preferred) or Composite Video cable to video inputs on TV.
  2. Connect to Audio System: Use Optical or Coaxial digital audio cable to your receiver, or use analog audio cables.
  3. Connect Power: Plug the AC power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.
  4. Insert Batteries: Install two AAA batteries in the remote control.

First-Time Setup

Power on the player and TV; follow on-screen prompts.

Connecting Devices

TV: Component (best quality) or Composite/S-Video. Audio System: Optical/Coaxial digital or analog stereo.

  1. Turn off all devices before connecting cables.
  2. Match cable colors to ports (Red/Green/Blue for Component Video).
  3. Select correct input source on your TV and audio receiver.
  4. For best picture, use Component Video cables and enable Progressive Scan if supported.

Playing Media

Supports DVD-Video, DVD-Audio, audio CDs, MP3 CDs, and JPEG photo CDs.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up in tray, close tray.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; disc menu may appear for selection.
  3. Navigation: Use arrow buttons and ENTER to select titles/chapters/tracks.
  4. Stop: Press STOP once to pause, twice to return to start.
  5. Skip: PREV/NEXT for chapters/tracks.
  6. Audio/Subtitle: Press AUDIO or SUBTITLE during playback to change.
  7. Zoom: Press ZOOM to cycle through magnification levels.
  8. Repeat: Press REPEAT to repeat chapter, title, track, or set A-B segment.

WARNING! Do not move the player while a disc is spinning. Handle discs by edges only.

Advanced Features

Parental Control: Set rating level in SETUP menu (default password 0000). Last Memory: Automatically resumes playback from stop point. Photo Viewer: Play JPEG slideshows from CD with background music from MP3 files. MP3 Playback: Navigate folder structure and play MP3 audio files.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug from power before cleaning. Wipe exterior with soft, dry cloth. Clean lens only with approved CD/DVD lens cleaner if necessary.

CAUTION! Never use solvents, aerosols, or abrasive cleaners. Do not open the casing.
