Installation & Connections

Unpack and verify all components. Place the player on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation.

  1. Connect to TV: Use HDMI cable for best quality (to TV's HDMI input). For older TVs, use Component (green/blue/red) or Composite (yellow) video cables.
  2. Connect Audio: HDMI carries audio. Alternatively, use digital coaxial/optical cable to audio receiver, or stereo RCA cables (red/white) for analog sound.
  3. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.
  4. Insert Batteries: Install two AAA batteries in the remote control.

WARNING! Ensure all devices are turned off before making connections. Do not block ventilation openings.

First-Time Setup

Power on the player and your TV. Select the correct input source on your TV (e.g., HDMI 1).

  1. Initial Language: The on-screen menu will prompt for language selection. Choose ENGLISH or your preferred language.
  2. TV Screen Format: Set the TV aspect ratio (16:9 Widescreen or 4:3) to match your television.

Playing Discs & USB Media

  1. Playing a Disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up in tray, press OPEN/CLOSE again to close. Playback may start automatically or press PLAY.
  2. Playing from USB: Insert USB drive into front port. Use MENU to browse files (Video, Music, Photo). Select a file and press PLAY.
  3. Basic Playback Controls: Use PLAY, PAUSE, STOP, PREV/NEXT. Press STOP twice to return to menu.
  4. Search: Press ◄ or ► during playback for slow forward/backward. Press and hold for fast scan.
  5. Repeat/Shuffle: Press REPEAT to cycle modes. In Music mode, press SHUFFLE for random play.
  6. Zoom: Press ZOOM during video playback to enlarge picture. Press repeatedly to cycle zoom levels or exit.
  7. Last Memory: If STOP is pressed once, pressing PLAY later resumes from that point (for most discs).

CAUTION: Do not move the player during disc operation. Use only standard-sized discs; do not use damaged or irregular-shaped discs.

On-Screen Menu Settings

Press MENU to access the main setup menu. Navigate with ▲/▼ and select with OK.

Note: Some settings are disc-dependent and may not be available for all media.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug the player from the power outlet before cleaning.
