Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation.

  1. Connect to TV: Use component video cables (preferred) or the supplied composite AV cable (yellow for video, red/white for audio).
  2. Connect to Audio System: Use optical or coaxial digital audio cable to your receiver for surround sound.
  3. Connect Power: Plug the AC power cord into a standard wall outlet.
  4. Insert Batteries: Install two AAA batteries into the remote control.

WARNING! Ensure the unit is placed in a well-ventilated area. Do not block ventilation openings.

First-Time Setup

Power on the DVD player and your TV/receiver. Follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Select Language: Use the SETUP menu to choose your preferred OSD language.

  4. Skip/Search: Use PREV/NEXT to skip chapters/tracks. Use SEARCH left/right for fast scan.
  5. Repeat: Press REPEAT to cycle through chapter, title, A-B, or off.
  6. Zoom: Press ZOOM to magnify a section of the screen.
  7. Subtitle/Audio: Press SUBTITLE or AUDIO to change languages during playback.

WARNING! Do not move the player while a disc is spinning. Do not use damaged or irregularly shaped discs.

Subtitle Display: Enable/select via SUBTITLE button. Parental Lock: Restrict playback of DVDs based on ratings in the SETUP menu.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug the unit before cleaning. Wipe the cabinet with a soft, dry cloth. Clean the lens only with a specialized CD/DVD lens cleaning disc if necessary.
