Installation

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place the player on a stable, level surface near your TV and audio system.

  1. Connect Video: Use Component (YPbPr), S-Video, or Composite cables to your TV's corresponding inputs.
  2. Connect Audio: Use the included composite audio cables (L/R) or connect the digital optical/coaxial output to your audio receiver.
  3. Connect Power: Plug the AC power cord into a standard 120V outlet.
  4. Insert Batteries: Install two AAA batteries into the remote control.

WARNING! Ensure the player is placed in a well-ventilated area. Do not block ventilation slots.

First-Time Setup

Power on the player and your TV. Select the correct input source on your TV (e.g., Component, Video 1).

  1. Set Language: Use the SETUP menu to select your preferred OSD language.
  2. Configure Video Output: In SETUP, choose the video output type matching your TV (Progressive, Interlace) and connection (Component, S-Video, etc.).

Connecting to TV & Audio System

For best quality, use Component Video (YPbPr) and Digital Optical Audio connections.

  2. Connect Video: Match colored Component cables (Y, Pb, Pr) or use S-Video/Composite.
  3. Connect Audio: For stereo, use the white/red RCA audio cables. For surround sound, connect the optical cable to your receiver.
  4. Power on equipment and select the correct input source on your TV and receiver.

Playing Discs

Supports DVD-Video, audio CDs, and MP3 CDs.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up in the tray, press OPEN/CLOSE again to close.
  2. Start Playback: Press PLAY. For DVDs, the main menu may appear—use navigation buttons to select.
  3. Navigate: Use PREV/NEXT to skip chapters/tracks. Use the arrow keys and ENTER to navigate DVD menus.
  4. Pause/Stop: Press PAUSE; press STOP once to pause with on-screen display, twice to stop completely.
  5. Eject: Press OPEN/CLOSE. Wait for the tray to fully open before removing the disc.

WARNING! Do not move the player while a disc is spinning. Do not use damaged or irregularly shaped discs.

Advanced Playback Features

Zoom: Press ZOOM during playback to cycle through magnification levels (x2, x4, Normal). Repeat: Press REPEAT to cycle through repeat modes (Chapter/Title/Track/All/A-B). Search: Use SEARCH buttons for fast forward/reverse scan. Audio/Subtitle: Press AUDIO or SUBTITLE during DVD playback to change language tracks. Angle: Press ANGLE if the DVD supports multiple camera angles. Last Memory: The player remembers the stop point for most discs when powered off (except on some CD/MP3).

Care & Maintenance

Unplug the player from the power outlet before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the cabinet. For stubborn stains, dampen the cloth slightly with water. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.

CAUTION! Never allow liquid to enter the unit through ventilation slots or the disc tray. Keep discs clean and free of fingerprints.
