Installation

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on stable, level surface away from heat sources.

  1. Connect to TV: Use composite (yellow) or component video cables to TV input.

  3. Connect antennas: Attach FM wire antenna and AM loop antenna to respective terminals.
  4. Plug power cord into AC outlet.
  5. Insert batteries (2xAA) into remote control.

First-Time Setup

Connecting Devices

TV Connection: Composite video (yellow) + audio (red/white) or component video (green/blue/red). Audio System: Optical digital output or analog stereo outputs. External Devices: No direct input connections (playback unit only).

  1. Turn off all devices before making connections.
  2. Match cable colors to terminal colors.
  3. Secure all connections firmly.
  4. Select correct input source on TV/amplifier.

Tip: For best video quality, use component video cables when available.

Playing Disc Media

Supports DVD-Video, audio CDs, MP3 CDs.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up, close tray.

Radio Operation

AM/FM tuner with 30 presets.

  1. Switch to radio: Press FUNCTION repeatedly until "TUNER" appears.
  2. Select band: Press BAND to toggle between FM and AM.
  3. Tune stations: Use TUNING buttons or knob; or press AUTO SCAN.
  4. Save presets: Tune to station, press and hold preset number (1-30).
  5. Recall presets: Press preset number briefly.
  6. Adjust sound: Use SOUND EFFECT to select equalizer settings.

Note: For better FM reception, extend wire antenna fully and position vertically.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug unit before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for exterior. For lens cleaning, use approved CD/DVD lens cleaner only.

CAUTION! Never use solvents, abrasives, or spray cleaners. Avoid magnetic fields near unit.
