Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation.

  1. Connect to TV: Use HDMI cable for best quality, or Component/Composite video cables.
  2. Connect to Audio System: Use Optical Digital Audio cable or analog audio cables (RCA).
  3. Connect Power: Plug the AC power cord into a standard wall outlet.
  4. Insert Batteries: Install batteries into the remote control.

WARNING! Ensure the player is placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Do not block ventilation openings.

First-Time Setup

Power on the player and your TV; follow on-screen prompts if available.

  1. Select Language: Use the SETUP menu to set the on-screen display language.
  2. Configure Video Output: In SETUP, select the appropriate video output resolution (e.g., 480p, 720p, 1080i) matching your TV's capability.
  3. Configure Audio Output: Set audio output format (PCM or Bitstream) based on your audio system.

CAUTION! Handle discs by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches.

Connecting Devices

TV: Use HDMI, Component, or Composite video connection. Audio System: Use Optical Digital or analog stereo cables.

  1. Turn off all devices before making connections.
  2. Connect video cable from player's output to TV's corresponding input.
  3. Connect audio cable from player's output to audio system's input.
  4. Power on devices and select the correct input source on your TV and audio system.

Tip: For best picture quality, use an HDMI connection. Ensure all cables are firmly seated.

Playing Media

Supports DVD-Video, audio CDs, MP3 CDs, JPEG photo CDs, and DivX files.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up in the tray, press OPEN/CLOSE again to close.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; navigation via menu, title/chapter selection, or skip buttons.
  3. Stop: Press STOP; to resume later, press PLAY (if resume function is supported).
  4. Skip: PREV/NEXT for chapters (DVD) or tracks (CD).
  5. Search: Use SEARCH or SCROLL buttons for fast forward/reverse.
  6. Repeat: Press REPEAT to cycle through repeat modes (Off, Title, Chapter, Track).
  7. Zoom: Press ZOOM to magnify a section of the picture.
  8. Audio/Subtitle: Press AUDIO or SUBTITLE during playback to change track or language.

WARNING! Do not move the player while a disc is spinning. Do not use damaged or irregularly shaped discs.

USB Playback

Insert a USB flash drive into the front panel USB port.

  1. Press USB on the remote or navigate to the USB source from the main menu.
  2. Use the navigation buttons to browse folders and select media files (Video, Music, Photo).
  3. Press PLAY to start playback. Use standard playback controls (PAUSE, STOP, SKIP).
  4. For photos, a slide show can be started; press SLIDE SHOW or check the SETUP menu for options.

Note: Supported file systems: FAT16, FAT32. Not all USB devices or file formats are guaranteed to work.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug the player from the power outlet before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. For stubborn stains, lightly dampen the cloth with water. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.

CAUTION! Never allow liquid to enter the ventilation slots or any openings. Clean the lens only with a specialized CD/DVD lens cleaning disc if necessary.
