Installation & Setup

Unpack and verify all components. Place on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation.

  1. Connect to TV: Use included AV cable (composite) or optional component/S-Video cable for better quality.
  2. Connect to audio system: Use digital coaxial or optical cable for surround sound to AV receiver.
  3. Connect power cord: Plug into standard 120V AC outlet.
  4. Insert batteries into remote control.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation; do not block vents. Keep away from heat sources and moisture.

Front & Rear Panel

Front Panel: POWER button, OPEN/CLOSE button, USB port, Display window, Playback controls (PLAY, STOP, PAUSE, SKIP).

Rear Panel: AC IN, COMPONENT VIDEO OUT (Y, Pb, Pr), S-VIDEO OUT, COMPOSITE VIDEO OUT, AUDIO OUT (L/R), DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (Coaxial & Optical).

Specifications

Basic Operation

Power on player and TV. Select correct input source on TV (e.g., AV1, Component).

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up, press again to close.
  2. Basic playback: Use PLAY, PAUSE, STOP, SKIP (PREV/NEXT).
  3. Access disc menu: Press MENU or TITLE during playback.
  4. Stop and eject: Press STOP, then OPEN/CLOSE.

Tip: Use the remote control for full functionality. Point directly at the player's sensor.

Connecting to TV & Audio System

For best video quality, use Component or S-Video connection. For best audio, use digital audio connection to surround sound system.

  1. To TV (Composite): Connect yellow (video), white (left audio), red (right audio) cables to matching ports.
  2. To TV (Component): Connect green (Y), blue (Pb), red (Pr) for video; white/red for audio.
  3. To Audio System: Connect digital coaxial (orange) or optical cable from player to AV receiver.
  4. Set TV to correct input source. Set AV receiver to corresponding digital input.

Note: Ensure all devices are powered off when making connections.

Playing Discs & USB Media

Supports DVD-Video, audio CDs, MP3/WMA CDs, JPEG photo CDs, and DivX files from disc or USB.

  1. Insert disc or connect USB drive to front USB port.
  2. Use MENU or TITLE button to access disc/file structure.
  3. Navigate with arrow buttons, select with ENTER.
  4. During playback: Use SUBTITLE, AUDIO, ANGLE buttons if available on disc.
  5. Special functions: ZOOM (enlarge picture), SLOW (slow motion), REPEAT (set repeat mode).
  6. USB playback: Supports MP3, WMA, JPEG, DivX files. Use folder navigation.

WARNING! Do not move player during disc operation. Do not use damaged or irregularly shaped discs.

Settings Menu

Press SETUP on remote to access. Navigate with arrow buttons, change with ENTER or left/right arrows.

CAUTION! Changing certain settings may affect playback compatibility.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug from power before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for exterior. For stubborn stains, dampen cloth slightly with water.

Disc care: Handle by edges; clean with soft cloth from center outward. Do not use solvents.

Lens cleaning: Generally not required. Use only approved CD/DVD lens cleaning discs if necessary.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners, benzene, or thinners. Do not open the cabinet.
