Installation

Unpack and verify all components. Place on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation.

  1. Connect to TV: Use included AV cables (yellow for video, red/white for audio) or S-Video cable for better quality.
  2. Connect to audio system: Use digital optical cable for surround sound systems.
  3. Connect power: Plug the power adapter into the unit and then into a wall outlet.
  4. Insert batteries into remote control.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation around the unit. Do not place in enclosed spaces or near heat sources.

First-Time Setup

Power on the player and TV; select correct input source on TV.

  1. Set language: Press SETUP on remote, navigate to LANGUAGE menu, select preferred language.
  2. Configure video output: In SETUP menu, select VIDEO settings, choose output format (NTSC/PAL, Progressive Scan if supported).
  3. Configure audio: Select AUDIO settings, choose output format (PCM, Bitstream for digital).
  4. Set parental control: In SETUP menu, access LOCK menu to set rating level and password.

CAUTION! Handle discs by edges only. Avoid touching the playback surface.

Setup Menu: Language, Video (TV System, Screen Saver, Progressive), Audio (Dynamic Range, Downmix), Lock (Parental, Password), System (Default Reset). Playback Settings: Zoom (2x, 4x), Repeat (Off, Title, Chapter, Track, All), Audio Track selection, Subtitle selection, Angle selection (if available).

Connecting Devices

TV: Composite (AV) or S-Video. Audio System: Digital optical or analog stereo. USB: Flash drive or external HDD.

  1. Ensure all devices are powered off before making connections.
  2. Match cable colors to connectors (yellow to video, red to right audio, white to left audio).
  3. For digital audio, connect optical cable from player's DIGITAL OUT to receiver's optical input.
  4. Select corresponding input source on TV and audio receiver.

Tip: Use high-quality cables for best audio and video performance.

Playing Media

Supports DVD-Video, audio CDs, MP3s, and JPEG images.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up, press OPEN/CLOSE again to close.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; use SKIP buttons to navigate chapters/tracks.
  3. Pause/Still: Press PAUSE during playback; press again to resume.
  4. Stop: Press STOP; press PLAY to resume from stop point (if resume function enabled).
  5. Fast Search: Press and hold SKIP FORWARD/BACKWARD during playback.
  6. Zoom: Press ZOOM repeatedly to cycle through zoom levels (2x, 4x, Off).
  7. Repeat: Press REPEAT to cycle through repeat modes.
  8. USB playback: Insert USB device, select USB source from menu, navigate and play files.

WARNING! Do not move player during disc playback. Do not use damaged or irregularly shaped discs.

Accessibility Features

Subtitle Display: Select subtitle language via SUBTITLE button. Audio Description: Available on some DVDs (select via AUDIO button). Parental Control: Set rating level in LOCK menu (default password 0000).

Care & Cleaning

Unplug from power before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for exterior. For lens cleaning, use approved CD/DVD lens cleaning disc only.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or spray directly on unit. Avoid excessive dust and moisture.
