Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, well-ventilated surface.

  1. Connect to TV: Use HDMI cable for best quality, or component/composite cables.
  2. Connect antenna/cable: Attach coaxial cable from wall to ANT IN connector.
  3. Connect audio: Use coaxial digital audio cable to home theater or RCA audio cables.
  4. Plug into AC power outlet.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation; do not block vents. Keep away from heat sources.

First-Time Setup

Power on unit and TV; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Set TV type: In SETUP menu, select TV type (4:3 or 16:9).
  2. Program channels: Use auto channel search in menu to scan for available channels.
  3. Set language: In SETUP menu, select preferred language for menus.
  4. Set clock: Enter current date and time for accurate recording.

  3. Select correct input on TV (e.g., HDMI 1).

Playing Media

Supports DVD, CD, VHS, and USB media.

  1. Insert media: Press EJECT for DVD or insert VHS tape.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; use SKIP/SEARCH for navigation.
  3. USB playback: Insert USB drive, select USB source from menu.
  4. Special functions: REPEAT, ZOOM, AUDIO (for alternate tracks), SUBTITLE.
  5. Stop: Press STOP; eject media with EJECT button.

WARNING! Do not move unit during playback. Keep discs and tapes clean.

Recording Features
