Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface with adequate ventilation.

  1. Connect to TV: Use HDMI for best quality, or component/composite/S-Video cables as needed.
  2. Connect audio: Use digital coaxial output to home theater receiver, or analog outputs to TV/stereo.
  3. Connect power: Plug AC power cord into wall outlet.
  4. Connect USB device: Insert USB storage device into front or rear USB port.

First-Time Setup

Power on DVD player and TV; follow on-screen prompts if available.

  1. Select output resolution: Press SETUP, navigate to VIDEO settings, choose appropriate resolution (480p, 720p, 1080i, or Auto).

Connecting Devices

TV: HDMI, component, composite, or S-Video. Audio System: Digital coaxial or analog stereo. USB: Front or rear port for storage devices.

  1. Turn off all devices before making connections.
  2. Use high-quality cables for best performance.
  3. Select correct input on TV/receiver (HDMI 1, Video 1, etc.).
  4. For HDMI connection, ensure TV supports HDCP.

Tip: For best video quality, use HDMI connection. For best audio, use digital coaxial to home theater receiver.

Playing Media

Supports DVD-Video, audio CDs, MP3 CDs, JPEG photo CDs.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up in tray, press OPEN/CLOSE again.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; disc menu may appear for selection.
  3. Navigate: Use arrow buttons and ENTER to select menu items.
  4. Skip chapters/tracks: Press PREV or NEXT.
  5. Search: Press LEFT/RIGHT arrows during playback.

WARNING! Do not move player during disc playback. Do not use damaged or deformed discs.

USB Playback

Supports MP3 audio and JPEG images from USB storage devices.

  1. Insert USB device into port.
  2. Press USB button on remote or select USB source from menu.
  3. Navigate folders using arrow buttons.
  4. Select file and press PLAY.
  5. For JPEG: Use arrow buttons to navigate, ZOOM to enlarge.
  6. For MP3: Use audio buttons to change sound mode.

Note: USB device must be formatted as FAT32. Not all file types are supported.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug from power before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for exterior. For lens cleaning, use approved CD/DVD lens cleaner only.

CAUTION! Never use solvents, chemicals, or abrasive cleaners. Do not disassemble unit.
