Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Connect to TV: Use component video cables (red, blue, green) for best quality, or composite video (yellow).
  2. Connect audio: Use red/white RCA cables for analog audio, or digital coaxial/optical cable for digital audio.
  3. Connect power: Plug the AC power adapter into the unit and then into a wall outlet.
  4. Connect USB device: Insert USB storage device into the front or rear USB port.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation; do not block vents. Keep away from heat sources.

First-Time Setup

Power on the unit and TV; follow on-screen prompts if available.

  1. Select output resolution: Press SETUP, navigate to VIDEO settings, choose 480p, 720p, or 1080i based on TV capability.
  2. Set TV aspect ratio: Choose 4:3 or 16:9 to match your television.
  3. Configure audio output: Select PCM or Bitstream for digital audio.
  4. Set language: In SETUP menu, select preferred menu and disc audio/subtitle languages.

CAUTION! Handle discs by edges; avoid touching the playing surface.

Connecting Devices

TV: Component or Composite video. Audio System: Analog RCA or Digital Coaxial/Optical.

  1. Turn off all devices before connecting cables.
  2. Match cable colors to jacks (component: green=Y, blue=Pb, red=Pr).
  3. Select correct input source on your TV (e.g., Component 1, Video 1).
  4. For digital audio, ensure your receiver is set to the correct input.

Playing Media

Supports DVD-Video, audio CDs, and data discs with media files.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up, press OPEN/CLOSE again.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; disc may start automatically.
  3. Navigate: Use SKIP (<< or >>) for previous/next chapter or track.
  4. Search: Press SEARCH or use LEFT/RIGHT arrows during playback.
  5. Pause/Still: Press PAUSE; press again to resume.
  6. Slow Motion: Press PAUSE twice, then use LEFT/RIGHT arrows.
  7. Zoom: Press ZOOM repeatedly to cycle through zoom levels.
  8. Audio/Subtitle: Press AUDIO or SUBTITLE to change track or language.

WARNING! Do not move the player while a disc is spinning. Allow discs to cool before handling.

USB Playback

Play media files from USB flash drives or external hard drives.

  1. Insert USB device into the USB port.
  2. Press USB on remote or navigate to USB source from menu.
  3. Use arrow buttons to browse folders and select files.
  4. Supported formats: MP3 (audio), JPEG (photos), DivX/MPEG-4 (video).
  5. For video files, navigation similar to DVD chapters.
  6. For photos, use slideshow mode with adjustable interval.

Note: Some USB devices may require external power. File system must be FAT16 or FAT32.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug from power before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for exterior. For lens cleaning, use approved CD/DVD lens cleaner only.

CAUTION! Never use solvents, benzene, or abrasive cleaners. Do not disassemble the unit.
