Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable, level surface near your TV and audio system.

  1. Connect video output: Use Component, S-Video, or Composite cables to your TV.
  2. Connect audio output: Use digital (coaxial/optical) or analog (RCA) cables to your audio system.
  3. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.
  4. Insert batteries into the remote control.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation; do not block vents. Keep away from heat sources and moisture.

First-Time Setup

Power on the player and TV; follow on-screen prompts if available.

  1. Set TV Type: In SETUP menu, select TV TYPE (4:3 or 16:9) to match your television.
  2. Set Progressive Scan: Enable PROGRESSIVE SCAN in video settings if your TV supports it.
  3. Set Audio Output: In AUDIO menu, configure DIGITAL OUTPUT (PCM, Bitstream) based on your receiver.

Connecting Devices

  3. Select correct input source on your TV and audio receiver.

Tip: For best video quality, use Component cables with progressive scan enabled.

Playing Media

Supports DVD-Video, audio CDs, MP3 CDs, and USB media (MP3, JPEG).

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up, close tray.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; use numeric buttons or arrows to select title/chapter/track.
  3. Stop: Press STOP; eject with OPEN/CLOSE.
  4. Skip: PREV/NEXT for chapters/tracks.
  5. Repeat: Press REPEAT to cycle through repeat modes.
  6. Zoom: Press ZOOM during playback to magnify picture.
  7. Angle change: Use ANGLE button if multiple angles available.
  8. USB Playback: Insert USB device, select USB source from menu, navigate files.

WARNING! Do not move the player during disc playback. Do not use damaged or irregularly shaped discs.

Accessibility Features

Subtitle Control: Enable/select subtitles via SUBTITLE button. Parental Controls: Set movie rating limits in PARENTAL menu (default password 0000).

Care & Cleaning

Unplug the player before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. For lens cleaning, use a commercially available CD/DVD lens cleaner only if necessary.

CAUTION! Never use solvents, abrasives, or spray cleaners. Do not open the cabinet.
