Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure vehicle is parked safely with ignition off.

  1. Disconnect the negative terminal of the vehicle battery.
  2. Remove the existing car stereo following vehicle manufacturer instructions.
  3. Connect the wiring harness adapter to the LG DNX190H's main harness.
  4. Connect antenna, USB extension, and other cables (camera, Bluetooth mic).
  5. Secure the unit in the dashboard and reconnect the vehicle battery.

WARNING! Installation involves electrical connections. If unsure, consult a professional installer. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated.

First-Time Setup

Reconnect battery and turn on the ignition to power the unit.

  1. Detach/Attach Faceplate: Press the RELEASE button to detach; align and push to attach.
  2. Initial Settings: Use SETUP menu to set language, time, and illumination color.
  3. Pair Bluetooth: Enter Bluetooth menu, search for "LG DNX190H" from your phone, and enter PIN '0000' if prompted.
  4. Tune Radio: Press the BAND button to select AM/FM, then use SEEK or manual tuning to find stations.

CAUTION! Do not operate the touchscreen while driving. Park the vehicle to adjust settings.

  2. Insert USB drive or SD card fully into the correct slot.
  3. Connect the AUX cable from an external player (e.g., smartphone) to the AUX IN jack.
  4. For rear camera, connect the video cable to the CAMERA IN port on the rear harness.
  5. Turn on the unit and press SRC to select the desired source (USB, SD, AUX, CAMERA).

Tip: Use USB drives formatted as FAT32 for best compatibility. Maximum supported capacity is 32GB.

Playing Media

Supports audio (MP3, WMA) and video (DivX, MPEG4) files from USB, SD, or disc.

  1. Insert Media: Insert a USB drive, SD card, or DVD into the appropriate slot.
  2. Select Source: Press SRC or touch the source icon on screen (USB, SD, DISC).
  3. Navigate: Use the file browser on screen to select folders and files.
  4. Playback Controls: On-screen buttons for Play/Pause, Stop, Skip (Next/Previous).
  5. Video Playback: Video will display on screen when vehicle is in PARK (safety feature).

WARNING! For safety, video playback is disabled when the vehicle is in motion. Do not watch video while driving.

Bluetooth Features

Hands-Free Calling: Pair your phone to make and receive calls. Audio Streaming: Stream music from your Bluetooth-enabled device.

  1. Pairing: Go to BT menu > Device List > Add New. Search for "LG DNX190H" on your phone and connect.
  2. Making a Call: Use the on-screen dialer, voice command via your phone, or imported phonebook.
  3. Streaming Music: Select "BT Audio" as the source. Control playback (play, pause, skip) from the unit or your phone.

Note: Bluetooth performance can vary based on the phone model and environment.

Care & Cleaning

Detach the faceplate before cleaning. Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently wipe the screen and body. For stubborn smudges, lightly dampen the cloth with water.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemicals. Do not spray liquids directly onto the unit. Avoid excessive heat and moisture.

Troubleshooting
