Installation

Unpack all components carefully. Place the main unit on a stable, level surface.

  1. Connect speakers: Attach speaker wires to the LEFT and RIGHT terminals on the rear, observing polarity.
  2. Connect antennas: Attach the supplied AM loop antenna and FM wire antenna to their respective terminals.
  3. Connect audio sources: Use the AUX IN jack for devices like smartphones or MP3 players.
  4. Connect to power: Plug the AC power cord into a wall outlet.

WARNING! Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Do not place in enclosed spaces.

First-Time Setup

Press STANDBY/ON to power on the system.

  1. Set clock: In standby mode, press and hold CLOCK button, use number keys to set time.
  2. Tune radio stations: Press MODE to select RADIO. Use TUNING +/- to find stations, then press MEMORY to store.
  3. Configure audio settings: Use SOUND menu to adjust bass, treble, and balance.
  4. For DVD: Set TV system and aspect ratio in the SETUP menu if connecting to a television.

Audio Settings: BASS, TREBLE, BALANCE, SRS mode, EQ presets. System Settings: Clock, Sleep Timer, Language (ENGLISH default), Parental Lock (default password 0000). DVD Setup: TV Type (4:3, 16:9), Audio Output (PCM, Bitstream), Subtitle Language.

Connecting Devices

TV: Use composite video cable (yellow) from VIDEO OUT to TV. AUX: 3.5mm to RCA cable from device to AUX IN. USB: Flash drive directly into port.

  1. Ensure the system is in standby mode before making connections.
  2. Use appropriate cables for each connection type.
  3. Select the correct input source using the MODE button (DVD, USB, AUX, RADIO).

Tip: For best radio reception, fully extend the FM antenna and position the AM loop antenna.

Playing Media

Supports DVD-Video, audio CDs, MP3/WMA files from disc or USB.

  1. Insert media: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc on tray or insert USB drive.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; navigate menus with arrow keys and ENTER.
  3. Stop: Press STOP; press OPEN/CLOSE to eject disc.
  4. Skip: PREV/NEXT for tracks/chapters.
  5. Repeat: Press REPEAT to cycle through track, chapter, or all repeat modes.
  6. Program Play: Press PROGRAM to create a custom play sequence.
  7. Search: Press SEARCH and use number keys to jump to a specific time point.
  8. Resume: System can remember last stop point on some discs.

WARNING! Do not touch the laser lens. Use only compatible media.

Radio Operation

AM/FM tuning with manual and automatic scan.

  1. Press MODE to select RADIO.
  2. Press BAND to switch between AM and FM.
  3. Use TUNING +/- to manually find a station, or press and hold for auto-scan.
  4. To store: Tune to station, press MEMORY, select preset number (1-30), press MEMORY again.
  5. To recall: Press the numeric button of the desired preset.

Note: FM stereo indicator will light when a stereo broadcast is received.

Care & Maintenance

Disconnect from power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, dampen cloth slightly with water only.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or spray directly on the unit. Avoid extreme temperatures and humidity.
