Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, well-ventilated surface.

  1. Connect to TV: Use HDMI cable from HDMI OUT to TV's HDMI input.
  2. Connect to network: Use Ethernet cable or set up Wi-Fi in settings.
  3. Connect audio system: Use optical cable to compatible sound system (optional).
  4. Plug into AC power outlet.

First-Time Setup

Connecting Devices

  3. Select correct input source on TV (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, etc.).

Tip: For ARC, enable HDMI-CEC in both player and TV settings.

Playing Disc Media

Supports Blu-ray, DVD, CD formats.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-up, close tray.
  2. Play: Auto-play or press PLAY; navigate with directional buttons.
  3. Stop: Press STOP; resume with PLAY (if resume supported).
  4. Skip: PREV/NEXT for chapters/tracks.
  5. Search: Use LEFT/RIGHT during playback for fast forward/rewind.
  6. Audio/Subtitle: Press AUDIO or SUBTITLE to change tracks.
  7. BD-Live: Access extra content if disc and internet connected.
  8. USB Playback: Select USB device from HOME, browse and play files.

WARNING! Do not use damaged or irregular discs. Keep disc tray clean.

Network & Streaming

Connect to internet for streaming apps and updates.

  1. From HOME, select desired app (Netflix, YouTube, etc.).
  2. Sign in with account credentials (first time only).
  3. Browse and stream content; use app-specific controls.
  4. Update apps via LG Content Store if available.

Note: Streaming quality depends on internet speed. Minimum 5 Mbps recommended for HD.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth; avoid liquids and abrasive cleaners.

CAUTION! Do not insert objects into disc tray or vents. Store in cool, dry place.
